Karigane is a type of kukicha, or "twig" tea, made from Gyokuro and Sencha.
This gorgeous, emerald-green tea brews up sweet, fresh, and delicious.
There is only a small amount of Karigane produced each year, making it sometimes difficult to find. This tea was produced by a family owned tea company that was founded in 1869. It’s owned and run by the same family for five generations now. Their tea factory is located near the Nissaka area of Shizouka, not far from Mt. Fuji.
