Suet is the fat around the kidneys. It's an excellent source of pure animal fat, and has a variety of uses outside of being a healthy and hearty source of fat in your diet. You can render suet down into your very own beef tallow, or simply use pieces of suet to melt on a pan, providing a grass-fed beef flavor ready to pan fry your favorite ingredients in.

In addition to consuming suet/tallow and using it to cook with, you can make your own tallow candles, soaps, lotions, moisturizers, and even lip balms!
